Yee Van Fan博士,現(xiàn)任牛津大學(xué)環(huán)境變化研究所能源組高級(jí)研究員,同時(shí)兼任魯本學(xué)院環(huán)境變化研究員。她專注于能源、廢棄物及資源系統(tǒng)的可持續(xù)性評(píng)估研究,尤其關(guān)注數(shù)字化在實(shí)現(xiàn)凈零排放與循環(huán)經(jīng)濟(jì)中的關(guān)鍵作用,其研究成果發(fā)表于Science(封面文章), Journal of Environmental Management, Energy等多本高水平期刊。Yee Van Fan長(zhǎng)期擔(dān)任多本國(guó)際期刊編委,現(xiàn)為Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy, Energy Sources Part A, Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy等期刊副主編。
報(bào)告摘要::
Digitalisation is emerging as a key enabler of global decarbonisation, shaping technological innovation, energy system efficiency, and socio-economic transformation. While it enhances efficiency and drives innovation, its role in decarbonisation is both enabling and challenging. On the positive side, digitalisation accelerates the energy transition by optimising energy systems, integrating renewables, improving industrial and building performance, and stimulating green investment through procurement and contracts. At the same time, it increases resource demand, both energy and materials, raising concerns about emissions, resource management (depletion, e-waste), and rebound effects. This presentation explores the direct and indirect impacts of digitalisation on decarbonisation pathways, while also reflecting on its broader societal and environmental implications.
